Rideshare Rent A Car by Honolulu Affordable Car Rental, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your reservation.

1. Eligibility

1.1. Driver Requirements:

You must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.

You must be approved to drive for a rideshare or delivery platform such as Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, or similar.

1.2. Identification and Verification:

A valid government-issued photo ID and proof of rideshare platform approval are required at the time of pickup.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. Rental Fees:

Full payment of rental fees must be made before the vehicle is released.

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other approved payment methods.

2.2. Security Deposit:

No security deposit is required for our rentals.

2.3. Cancellations and Refunds:

Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup are eligible for a full refund.Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup may incur a cancellation fee.

3. Vehicle Usage

3.1. Approved Use:

Vehicles are to be used exclusively for rideshare or delivery driving.

Personal use is permitted but must not interfere with your rideshare obligations.

3.2. Prohibited Activities:

Smoking, transporting illegal substances, or engaging in illegal activities using the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

Off-road driving or excessive wear and tear on the vehicle is not allowed.

4. Maintenance and Care

4.1. Vehicle Condition:

Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as when rented, excluding normal wear and tear.

4.2. Maintenance:

Renters are responsible for routine maintenance, including fuel, oil, and tire pressure checks, during the rental period.

4.3. Repairs:

Any repairs or damages caused during the rental period are the renter's responsibility.

5. Insurance and Liability

5.1 Insurance Coverage:

Renters must provide proof of insurance coverage valid for rideshare activities.

5.2. Liability:

The renter is fully responsible for any fines, penalties, accidents, or damages incurred during the rental period.

6. Mileage and Fuel

6.1. Unlimited Mileage:

All rentals include unlimited mileage.

6.2. Fuel Policy:

Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pickup.

7. Pickup and Return

7.1. Pickup Appointments:

Renters must arrive on time for their scheduled pickup appointment.

7.2. Late Returns:

Late returns may result in additional fees.

8. Termination of Rental

8.1. Breach of Terms:

Honolulu Affordable Car Rental reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if these Terms and Conditions are violated.

8.2. Early Termination:

The rental agreement can be terminated early with no penalties, provided the vehicle is returned in good condition.

9. Modifications and Updates

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Updates will be posted on our website and become effective immediately.
